No Shoalhaven Bushwalker teams competed in the 2-day event.
Three Shoalhaven Bushwalker teams competed in the 1-day event in Class 1. A men's team consisting of Stuart Davies, John Prior, Ray Clegg and Jim White finished equal 17th. A mixed team of Elizabeth and Fred Backer, Daphne McCann
and Lillian Koglin finished equal 25th (after Daphne fell over a cliff), and a women's team of Leila Kates, Bronwyn Clegg, Denise Davies and Yvonne White came last after finishing very late.
Denise claims that the women's team had already collected over three hundred points (which would have placed them ahead of both the other Shoalhaven Bushwalker teams) when a road shown on the map ended abruptly and forced the girls to find a way up to and through a cliff-line in the dark.
These three teams would have finished equal 23rd, equal 36th and last (out of 46 teams) if all three classes had been combined.
