The club has some safety equipment (PLBs and GPSs) available for free to club members for use on club activities, and for hire to club members for non-club activities at a nominal cost per activity (as shown in brackets below). Non-safety equipment is also available for hire. Equipment use for club walks always has precedence over non-club walks. PLB hire for private use must be okayed by the Wednesday Walks Coordinator.

Club members are requested to return club equipment after use to the person from whom they hired it, as soon as possible after the walk or activity.

Also, if any club member has any camping gear they want to sell (or donate to the club), send the details to the Ettremist Editor and they will be included in both the next newsletter and on the website.

In addition to the above equipment for hire, the club also has equipment that is not for hire that is used for various club activities when needed - as follows.

In addition, the Outdoors & Beyond store on the highway at South Nowra offers a 10% discount to members of the Shoalhaven Bushwalkers off everything in the store (except fridges, boats and kayaks).
