Refrain
We are the walkers of Shoalhaven
We are the walkers from the South
On weekends and on Wednesdays
We exercise our legs
'Round the campfire we exercise our mouth.
In the Budawangs, the Ettrema,
The tracks 'round Jervis Bay
We are always ready for some fun
We may get a bit confused,
But never truly lost
As we walk on through the bush
In rain and sun.
Verse 1
We walk along the firetrail or
We go right off the track
And hopefully by nightfall we
Will find the right way back.
Six hours of heavy bushbash never
Will deter our club.
Our legs are scratched, our fingers hurt
From Hakea and scrub!
Refrain
Verse 2
A night around the campfire is
A highlight of our walk.
We sit around and eat and drink
And talk and talk and talk.
Much later in the evening we
Will pass around the port,
For we can sleep much better
After just a little snort.
Refrain (again)
