Mittagong - 1996

Search for teenage girl who had not returned to her home in Mittagong after visiting a friend. Briefing at Mittagong Police Station at daybreak gave news that she had some developmental problems and her movements could be erratic. Search continued into early afternoon in the town and immediate vicinity. Our party of three (Lillian Koglin, Russ and Gareth Evans) was grouped with another club and given a large park on the western side of the town to search. The girl was found unharmed in mid-afternoon.
