The Club
Shoalhaven Bushwalkers Inc. is a bushwalking club based in the beautiful Shoalhaven region on the south coast of New South Wales which is centred in Nowra - approximately 160 kms south of Sydney. The club is a non-political, community group affiliated with Bushwalking NSW. The club has a "live" program (unavailable to the public) of weekend walks, Wednesday walks (the main walking day for most club members) and social events, and also produces an e-newsletter containing various articles, walk reports and photographs.

Information for members


Current Covid Restrictions

Members are not required to be fully vaccinated or carry vaccination evidence. Face masks are not required. There is no mandated group size limits, although our leaders can still set the maximum number of walkers allowed on their walks.


Theatre Email List

If you would like to be included on the email list for interested theatre goers to receive emails containing the latest news about productions, including last minute ones, email Lee Price at leonne.price@gmail.com or phone her on 0417 483 207.

Who to Call?
Leaders - ASAP after the completion of your walk, phone Dennis Gray on 4421-0195 or 0437 357 602 to let him know of your safe return, and the number of people on your walk.


Car Sharing Cost - from May 2022
15c per kilometre per passenger, rounded up or down to the nearest 10km, with cost then rounded up or down to the nearest dollar. For example -
62km = 60km = $9.00
66km = 70km = $10.50 = $11.00
